Hi, my name is Sarah and I'm the founder and owner of Kiva Jane Weddings. 

I've been in a few jobs in my professional life, but I wasn't feeling fulfilled. I wanted something that helped people, brought joy and also supported my community.

As a queer, neurodivergent and disabled person, I know that it's often difficult to find providers, in any industry, that you 100% trust to be not only non-discriminatory, but actively affirming of your sexuality, gender, race, religion, disability and neurodivergence. I also know what it feels like to find the place where I can be open and honest about who I am. More than anything, I wanted to use my experiences to create this space for others.

After looking around, and being part of or a guest at, a whole lot of weddings, it's easy to see how heteronormative and neurotypical the industry is. Is this a bad thing? Absolutely not! Every wedding is beautiful because it's a reflection of the couple getting married and their love for each other. My goal is to give my community the same visibility, care and normality as everyone else. It's not just about the end product, but the whole journey to get there. It should all be a positive and stress-free experience.

So, here's where I come in. I've worked in and out of events and travel for the last 10+ years; from corporate meetings to political fundraisers, birthdays to travel itineraries. I can walk you through the process from start to finish with respect, care and the experience to back it up. I'm an author, an artist and an organiser and I love what I do. I want to bring all that creativity and passion to every couple I work with, because everyone deserves to have the best wedding day possible.
