You might have seen at the bottom of each package page the little disclaimer about how prices can increase depending on distance from Melbourne, guest list count or, for the Partial Planner, how many aspects you need us to plan. At Kiva Jane Weddings, we pride ourselves on our transparency and giving you all the information you need to know to make an informed decision about choosing us. Here is everything you need to know about how this works!

Distance Charge: $0.50/km

We're more than happy to travel out to rural Victoria for your wedding, in fact rural venues are some of the most beautiful! Anything 2 hours away or less is complimentary with all of our packages. As we're based in Melbourne, we calculate 2 hours from Melbourne CBD. If your destination is more than 2 hours away from Melbourne CBD, there will be a charge to cover petrol costs and our labour. 

Large Guest Count: $50 per addition person

For weddings with a guest count over 150 people, there comes additional work and expectations. Because of this, we've made the decision to change for extra large events. There is no additional fee for weddings with less than 150 people. The average wedding has between 70-100 people, so we don't expect this to effect many couples, but it is necessary for the amount of work that goes into planning with a guest list that big and the need for extra staff on the day. Especially when we are organising invites, RSVP's and catering.

Meeting for Advice without a Package: $80/h

For all of our packages, we provide unlimited meetings to discuss your plans and logistics, so there is no extra charge. However, there are couples who only need some advice or reassurance, rather than coordination or planning services. For those people, we offer an hourly rate to go over what they've planned and provide any advice that they need. Let us give you the piece of mind that your day will go smoothly. 

The Partial Planner Pricing: Custom

It's incredibly difficult to give specific pricing for such a custom package. As a rule of thumb, if you are looking for services that are close to our Full Package, then you can expect that the final price will be similar. If you are looking for less help, then the price will be closer to the base. The final price will very much depend on how much work is required and the effort included. Smaller tasks won't cost as much as more labour intensive ones, so that's something to keep in mind.
